This is a paintless dent repair save that insurance company told customer they need to have repaired in a body shop. This customer didn’t want to have it repainted.
A customer from Greenville, Illinois brought in their 2018 Chevy Equinox with a sharp door ding in the passenger door. They turned it into their insurance company. The insurance company recommended they take it to a body shop. The customer did not want it repaired by being repainted, so they brought it to us to fix with the paintless dent repair method. Some people think that because it’s through a body line, it cannot be repaired with the paintless dent repair method, but, we are able to fix dents through body lines. This one we repaired by going by going down the window and working it out from the back side. Making it look brand new, like it did from the factory, without repainting the vehicle. The customer was very happy that he could keep his original factory paint. This particular customer has worked in the body shop industry for over 40 years and thought that the paintless dent repair method was better than having it repainted. So, the insurance company wrote us a check for the repair instead of a body shop doing it. We also do repairs along with body shops and working with insurance companies.
